Content Produced
Overwatch 2
Budget: $10 Million
Concurrent views: 5 Million
# of Creators: 50
Overwatch 2 was the largest and most successful gaming campaign run by BENlabs. It consisted of two parts lasting 3 weeks each and kept Overwatch 2 on Twitch's front page the entire time. I coordinated simultaneous streams and provided both internal and external stakeholders with consistent performance updates.
Destiny 2: Lightfall
# of Creators: 26
Heralding the arrival of the Witness and the introduction of the new Strand class, Destiny 2: Lightfall allowed us to partner streamers together as they took on the Nightmare campaign for the first time. Seeing multiple creators' respective POVs across their videos made the content produced in this campaign a major treat.
Disguised Toast Hide n' Seek
Budget: $900,000
# of Creators: 20
Toast's Hide n' Seek tournament is one of my favorite campaigns I was able to work on at BEN. We gathered an entire host of creators from the Apex community as well as all over Twitch to collaborate on this tournament, and with $100,000 on the line, stakes were incredibly high! The video garnered over 3 million views and was instrumental in showing off Season 11's new map, Stormpoint.
Battlefield 2042
Battlefield 2042 launched with multiple game modes (Portal, Hazard Zone, and All-Out Warfare) which gave us the ability to market different modes with different creators. This campaign required layered strategies and careful execution, which made its payoff all the greater.
Apex Legends: Saviors
One of my first videos produced for an Apex Legends seasonal launch, featuring AminOnPC teaming up with his real-life brother for the season 13 release of Newcastle, Bangalore's long lost sibling. The result was a quality video with hilarious moments and high-stakes that captured the unique experience of mixing Apex Legends and sibling rivalries.
Dead Space Remake
Creators and viewers alike returned to the USG Ishimura as EA launched their highly anticipated remake of the 2008 horror game. This was my first solo campaign as well as my first campaign involving travel - BEN was able to ship creators to the EA headquarters in Redwood to give them a first look at the Ishimura's new environment, traversal, and Necromorphs.
Better with Apex
#BetterwithApex was a series a short-form visual effects and skit-based videos showing how Apex Legends could be intertwined with reality. This campaign was incredibly special as it allowed us to produce content that was much more creatively flexible and lean in to the creator's specialties.
Need for Speed
Need for Speed brought high-octane street racing to the mobile platform with No Limits. I was stoked to work with Krispy Media's Chris Petruccio to shoot a real race featuring a Skyline GTR and RX-7 available in the game, and the finished video was one of the coolest things I have worked on to date.
Apex Cosplay
Working with cosplayers is always a joy, and thanks to EA we were able to bring several Apex Legends to life with this cosplay campaign! I was truly impressed with the quality and designs we got - especially the Ashe cosplay by aru.rinh featured here!
